Poetry Landmarks

St Enodoc Church

(Associated Place)

This is where Sir John Betjeman is buried as the church and surrounding area inspired much of his poetry. It's breathtaking around this part of Cornwall and was Betjeman's favourite palce, as it is mine.

St Enodoc Church
Daymer Bay
From the beach at Daymer bay, walk through the sand dunes, over the golf course and you will see the spire - the church has been sinking into the sand dunes for years so the spire is almost at eye level.
