Modern Poetry in Translation

(Poetry Magazine)

Translated and original poetry, short essays and reviews. Sponsored by Arts Council England, MPT was founded in 1966 by Ted Hughes and Daniel Weissbort. MPT is now in its third series, under the editorship of David and Helen Constantine.

MPT continues to be the UK's leading poetry translation magazine, publishing the work of translators and poets from all over the world. Themes include exile, the movement of peoples, the search for asylum, and the speaking of languages outside their native home.

Published twice a year, MPT is available direct, either as single copies or by subscription. You can also order copies via our website, or buy copies in selected bookshops.
