Greta Hall, Keswick

Details:

Greta Hall was former home of the Lakes poets Samuel Taylor Coleridge and Robert Southey. Built around 1800, it was Southey's home for forty years. Southey was Poet Laureate from 1813-43 and the house hosted many famous literary personalities such as Wordsworth, Shelley and Sir Walter Scott.
