3rd Annual Celebration, open postcard poetry reading, Camden Town Hall. 3- 5 p.m. October 7th 2011.
Every first Friday of October, the Bloomsbury Time Bank Purple Poets (and Friends) host an open reading of postcard poems with a Camden slant. Poets read their poems on postcards to the Mayor of Camden. (The 2009 theme was 'Camden Heroes,' the 2011 theme is 'Camden Games.')
Send a copy of your postcard poem on the theme to:

Special Guest: artist Jo WOnder
will screen her 'Bacterial Ophelia' video as part of an audience writing workshop, led by Kim Morrissey.
Everyone is welcome. The Camden Town Hall is wheel-chair accessible.
The Purple Poets host this event annually in memory of Rose Hacker.
