Tullie House hosts poetry evenings in unique surroundings, amidst museum collections or in its contemporary art gallery.
On 29.10.11, for one night only, we offer an evening of Reiver culture, with performances of ancient and contemporary Border ballad, poetry and music, encompassing themes of the supernatural, blood feud and romance.
In our Border Galleries, award winning poet, Pippa Little, reads from her collection, 'Foray', acclaimed as "a border balladry of women".
Keeper of Social History, Edwin Rutherford, provides a guided tour of the new Reivers Gallery, while local folk musicians perform traditional ballads in the restaurant.
Price: £5.00 full; £4.50 concessions.
