Poetry Landmarks

Belford Community Middle School

All the pupils at Belford Community Middle School read and write poetry. School assemblies and concerts are occasions for choral speaking and readings by pupils, and by Alison Pryde, their poet in residence.

National Poetry Day is always recognised by the whole school and staff, together with Alison Pryde, and this year they are working on their own 'Patchwork Poem', celebrating the wonderful county of Northumberland.
