Clitheroe Books hosts open floor poetry readings at the New Inn on the last Thursday of each month starting at 7.30. Admission free. Everybody welcome whether you want to read (your own or your favourite poems) or just listen and enjoy. The evening has a relaxed and flexible format. Clitheroe Books also host a bookclub at the shop on the first Thursday of each month, with eating and drinking beforehand (food supplied by the cafe next door).A great way to spend a friendly and relaxed evening discussing books.
