Readings by local poets of their own work including some dialect poetry, open mic sessions for impromptu readings and favourite poems. Read your own poem or your favourite poet's work.
COMPETITION-
Write a poem of the theme of Britain - it could be your town, region, school, football team, whatever it means to live in Britain. Decorate a flag with your poem to be added to the party bunting with your name and address somewhere on the flag, to win a goody bag.
