Details:

The Poetry Library is the biggest and most accessible collection of contemporary English language poetry available to the general public in the World.

The collection starts at 1912, and covers individual collections of poetry, anthologies, magazines, and in audio visual format. There is also a unique press cuttings collection of reviews and articles.

There are sections for adults and children, online resources, and an enquiries service for all aspects of 20th Century and contemporary poetry.

The Poetry Library is located next to the Voice Box, the premium venue in London for poetry and literature events organised by the Literature Department of the Royal Festival Hall.

Opening hours: Tuesday-Sunday, 11am-8pm. Mondays, closed.
