The Poetry Cubicle

(Poetry Organisation)

The Poetry Cubicle is a not for profit organisation, dedicated to making poetry more accessible. We are an interactive performance, poetry space, shop and library, currently based in Norwich and about to open a second branch in Manchester in October/November 2003. We have a poetry library, from which you can borrow poetry books and pamphlets as well as spoken word CDs/vinyl and some poetry prints to hang on your wall for the loan period. We organise and promote poetry tours, events and educational poetry workshops regionally, nationally and internationally, and have taken poets on tour to the Glastonbury Festival (2002, 2003), Aldeburgh (2002) and Amsterdam Poetry Festivals (2003) amongst many others. We sell original poems, catalogued via our A - Z of subject categories, provided to us by the poets themselves, as well as stocking a burgeoning selection of first collections and independently published poetry, mini-booklets, handmade poetry 'zines and much more.
