Poetry Landmarks

'Search and Create' - the Poetry Hunt at the Imperial War Museum, London. Part of the 'Poetry Place

(Public Art)

Details:

Described as 'a new and exciting departure for the Museum' and as 'imaginative and intriguing'. These poems engage adults and children alike. Hidden in unexpected places around the War Museum's galleries, the poems 'stimulate a deeper awareness of the ways we use language in times of war... Every poem you discover will have a different voice and story to tell.' Schools and writers can also pick up a special leaflet at the reception which guides them through the Hunt so as to respond to the poems with writing of their own.
