A Chronicle of Nails by Dave Reeves

(Public Art)

Details:

A Chronicle of Nails; Transported; A Condensation of History are three original poems by Black Country born writer Dave Reeves written across 44 panes of glass in the new West Bromwich bus station, one section to each pane. Commissioned by Centro (West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive), they were the result of a series of workshops with the local community and a period of historical research. A Chronicle of Nails refers to local industry and links with the novel ‘A Capful o’ Nails’ by the West Bromwich writer David Christie Murray.
